About us and our goals

In 2017, our small group of 5 people came up with the idea to produce high quality and 100% natural walnut oil.

Armed with this idea, we then prepared ourselves step by step throughout 2018 and acquired the necessary machines and knowledge.

The project really started taking shape with the walnut crop of 2018. We collected the fallen nuts throughout autumn, washed them and then dried them very gently in the designated dryer.

After a short storage, the first pressing of the nuts took place in November. Since we do not want to filter out any nutrients, we rely on a natural settling of the solids. As this of course takes time, we were only able to fill the first batch of walnut oil in our bottles at the end of December.

To finish the label of our products we asked an artistic friend to draw a small painting.

Now the journey continues. Since we still have several 100 kilos of dried walnuts in storage, we will be continuously pressing fresh oil available for sale.
